Sgro History
The Somali Girls Rights Development Organization is a local non-profit, non-governmental, and non-sectarian organization, instituted, staffed, and managed by a faculty of Somali professionals. Since the mid-2019s, it has been conceptualized and discussed
The organization was officially launched in August 2019 by a group of Baidoa District intellectuals in different fields with the consultation of various community groups in Bay and Bakol Region, such as traditional leaders, businessmen, women’s groups, youth groups, religious scholars, school-going girls, etc. in all the districts within the Bay and Bakol region
